Our
heart’s desire has always been to serve God in
the mission field. In 2000, we visited Japan and
were impressed by the deep spiritual need in that
country. We also learned that teaching English
is a powerful means to building relationships
and sharing the Gospel. As we continued to pray
and seek the Lord’s will, God opened the door
for us to serve as ESL teachers in Japan. We applied
at SEND International and were invited to their
Member Orientation Program in June, 2004, where
we are accepted as Missionaries. In May, 2006,
we completed our graduate diplomas in Intercultural
Studies program at Western Seminary. Our studies
included a concentration in TESOL (Teaching English
to Speakers of Other Languages) which is vital
to our ministry in Japan.
